Last Monday I got a call from the school, saying Riley fell down on ice and got a goose egg on his eye and the cute office lady said I am sure he is going to have a black eye. I get to the school to see what the damage was and let's just say...do you see a goose egg? the only thing I saw was this big, black eye. Kalli's first response was.."Mom is Riley's eye ball going to fall out?" this comment did not help the situation much. They said Riley was so brave and he did not cry until he saw me. So my question to them is, "Why is there ice on an elementary school playground?"

BWAHAHAHA!! Man, there could be ice on a 10 foot ledge and somehow kids are going to find it. Look at little Rocky Balboa. Way to take it like a man Riley!

Pretty sure this is the first of a few more black eyes! :) He's such a cutie. Those pictures just make me want to hug him.
Man, Riley is one tough kid! I loved Kalli's comment and I can imagine just how much that helped the situation. Hope things are going well for you guys. I am excited for our families little Christmas get together I think it will be fun! See you soon.
Ouch! Glad he's ok. Great pics to look at when he's bigger though. Fun stories of childhood. I love your family photos. Beautiful!
