We have done some fun memory makers that I had to share.
My cute Mom bought the kid's gingerbread kits at Costco so we made them one night as a family and mine and Kalli's turned out great (and is still standing strong) Jett and Riley's however did not even make it through the first hour - they had a story to go along with there's...let's just say cops and robbers and 5-6 gingerbread men on top of the roof.
The first big snow hit and Riley and Kalli WANTED to go out and shovel snow to help their Dad so I had to get out the camera to take pictures to show them one day that it was their choice, it was fun and entertaining to watch!
For the past couple years my family has been going to the Polar Express up in Heber City, we loved the first year so much the second was okay but this last time not the greatest (just ask my brother he gave up last year). So we are planning on doing something else next year but we really did have fun - Mom. We always eat at the Dairy Keen and they give out the best kid's prizes - this year were dart guns and I think Jett and Loni had just a bit more fun with them then the kid's. We love this time of year and love the memories more than any present we could ever get!

Wow, child labor....I can't wait to send Porter out packing in the snow. We haven't been on the Polar Express yet, maybe next year.
I have NEVER made a gingerbread house. Guess I know where to go get a kit now!
My mom wanted to do the Polar Express this year. Thanks for the info, I'll pass it on to her.
What fun Christmas memories and traditions you have created. Your kids will thank you later. I look back on my Christmas memories as a child and am so grateful for the things my parents did to make it a special time of year. Have a great Christmas!
