It is hard to say but my Riley turned 7 on Saturday the 16th. Happy birthday bud hope you had a wonderful day!
On Friday Kalli and I went to eat lunch with him at school and he was so proud we were there to eat with him, he showed us the ropes. I have to tell you what a riot it was to sit and listen to his little buddies tell me all of their "wound" stories from stitches to staples in the head I heard it all and all on TACO SALAD day :) Then later that night my sister in law, Hayley took him to the Monster Truck Show, which he loved so much especially when the tire fell off the truck (only boys). Now we get to Saturday (his actual birthday)we started the day at Classic Fun Center aka Classic Skating (does that bring back memories or what!) with a bunch of family and friends and let me tell you he made out like a bandit from Transformers to Lego's and of course Wii games. It was so funny to see everyone out there on skates, blades and scooters (Jett seriously has the biggest blister on his ankle). Then we went to lunch with my family to Chili's and then every year my parents take the kid's to let them pick out their own "toy" present.
I have to take a minute to tell a bit about Riley since this post is strictly about him. Riley is probably one of the sweetest boys you will ever meet, he has a heart on him way to big for his little body (as my Dad always says). Riley is also one of the most laid back, easy going kid's, definetly not hard to please. He loves every sport under the sun and is so good at all of them (not to mention he is speedy- gonzalez). He is doing great at school and has a ton of friends who think the world of him. He loves life and has a smile that lights up your day. I love you so much Riley I am so blessed to have you as my little boy, and that you will always be no matter how old you get. You make me so proud I could not have been blessed with a better son. Happy Birthday Riley!!
