The atmosphere up there was totally POSITIVE everyone just kept cheering the runners on no matter if they knew them or not, I loved it! It almost made me want to do one (key word almost) then I remembered it was 26.2 miles. Jett can't wait to do another one, next year, of course. We are so, so very proud of him!!
It was a very beautiful weekend up there, it did rain during the race but then it would stop. We saw my cute cousin and her husband who were so nice to save us a place at the finish line and Jett's parents came up to cheer him on, I think we were all teary-eyed when we saw him coming, that was so awesome!
I just wanted to thank everyone for their support for Jett, he got your sweet text's and words of encouragement, it meant the world to him. I don't think I fully understood the determination and dedication it takes to run a marathon but I will tell you anyone who can do it has my total admiration. Way to go Jett, we love you!!

I'm doing St. George next week! I am terrified. I was glad I read this. If he wants to do it again, it must not be too bad :) Way to go!
Sorry. I deleted that because for some reason it printed twice :)
WOW JETT! Way to go. I had no idea you were planning on running one otherwise we would have been more supportive. That is an amazing accomplishment!!!
Cool, I didn't know you were doing that, congratulations. My sister-in-law ran it too. I really admire the dedication.
